W.I.N.

Assumption Parish Catholic School embraces individualized goal setting strategies.  One of the many ways Assumption works to ensure the success of all students is through the W.I.N. program.  W.I.N. is an acronym for “What I Need”. This program helps students reach their individual math or reading goals.  Assumption’s W.I.N specialist utilizes a variety of tools and educational strategies to strengthen concept comprehension and build confidence in students.

All students need W.I.N. time in their day, the W.I.N. Center is there for the students that need a little extra academic support.  

The W.I.N. Center is structured to allow for individual and small group instruction.  The program incorporates a variety of hands-on lessons tailored to focus in on each student’s area of need.  The students review classroom content, as well as additional practice with math facts, phonological and phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, and reading fluency.
