Parents are not only the primary source of financial support for Assumption Parish School; they, also are invaluable resources in helping Assumption realize its full potential as a Christian community. As part of their responsibility to foster school community and to help defray expenses, all parents of students enrolled in Assumption Parish School are expected to contribute generously of their time (a minimum of 20 work hours) and talent toward the welfare of the school. It is particularly important that parents assist with the annual school auction and other fund-raising activities.
In accordance with diocesan policy, all volunteers who work in any capacity with the school children must have a current Washington State Patrol check and diocesan disclosure form on file in the school office. This form may be picked up at the school office. Additionally, anyone who volunteers at our school must complete the Code of Conduct Training class (dates and times will soon to be announced in the September and October calendar). The Code of Conduct Training class is necessary the first year and is approximately 1 hour long. Immediately after this class, a short test is given about the expectations and requirements our volunteers must meet when volunteering in the classroom.
The following year, a refresher test will need to be completed online. If you do not have your ID number and Password, please contact the school office. To take this refresher class, please select the following link http://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/
