I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2018. I served on the executive board of our health and fitness club during my time at Eastern and received honors for major of the quarter during the winter quarter of 2017 and major of the year in 2018.
I enjoy group exercise and CrossFit, I have coached group exercise in the past and one day would love to coach at a CrossFit gym, but my passion currently is competing in CrossFit at the regional level with two competitions quickly approaching in late September and early November.
I am passionate about providing children opportunities to be active and enjoy the outdoors and I recently began volunteering for a children’s oncology camp called Camp Journey. Camp Journey is a week long camp dedicated to children who have had or currently have cancer and provide them with a “normal camp experience” thanks to our medical staff on site that provides children with the treatment they need. It is another great opportunity to work with kids alongside a special group of volunteers in an effort to provide a life changing experience and will be something that I will continue doing for the rest of my life.
