Assumption School follows the Catholic Church's teachings and endeavors to instill Christian values based on the Gospel. We believe every child is a unique gift from God with innate talents, goodness, worth, and dignity. We provide a nurturing environment where students can develop spiritually, morally, emotionally, academically, physically, and socially. We believe that the purpose of the school is to assist the parents as primary educators of their children, working in partnership in the development of lifelong learners. We offer a quality education, which emphasizes academic excellence and inspires children to reach their fullest potential. We strive to prepare our students to be Christian witnesses to the mission of Jesus Christ, serving and caring for others.
Assumption Parish Catholic School’s Student Learning Expectations, in conjunction with our mission and philosophy, are the foundation in the formation of our students as disciples of Christ. This formation is accomplished through prayer, service to the community, and the pursuit of academic excellences. The acronym LOVE, stands for Love God, Others First, Value Self as a Child of God, and Excel in Academics. We recognize our students quarterly with the HAWK AWARD given to students who exemplify what it means to be an Assumption Hawk.
