We have had an amazing start to the Fund Run this year! Our total for the first
three days is $5,000. Our goal is to generate at least $20,000! The funds we
generate directly help us provide the best educational experience for our
students. Remember, if you have family or friends out of town they can still
sponsor your child through our online donation link on our website. Keep up the
good work. Join us next Friday, September 29th to cheer on our students as they
run in support of Assumption school.
Assumption students will begin our yearly Measure of Academic Progress (MAP)
testing next week. We use the results of this test to track our academic progress
ensuring we are meeting the needs of our students. THe MAP test provides
Assumption teachers to have multiple data points allowing them to best meet
your child’s needs. Teachers will then help students set goals for themselves.
Your child’s scores will be shared with you during parent conferences the first
week of November.
Assumption’s Home and School is our parent organization that helps us build
community through school activities. The Home and School organization is
hosting a new family orientation night on September 26th at 6:30 in the
Multi-Purpose room. They will cover what it means to be a Parent at Assumption
and give information on our events throughout the year. This is an important
night to connect and understand what our community is all about! New families,
or any families that would like to, please come and join us. Refreshments will be
served and kids are welcome.
Go Hawks!
