Religion: Students learn about what it means to belong to the Catholic Church and to be Disciples of Christ through prayer, sacraments, respect of others, and by growing in holiness. Students learn about the important aspects of weekly Mass.
Science: Physical Science- push and pull motion. Life science - life cycles, interdependent relationships, habitats, comparing animal groups. Earth weather science - water cycle and weather patterns.
Math: Understanding and memorizing the multiplication and division facts, large number concepts, fractions, and geometry.
Language Arts: A variety of genre is read and students set goals to increase reading ability, develop narrative, expository, and persuasive writing skills, and learn to be expressive through simple theatrical plays.
Life-long skills: being accountable and responsible for choices, showing empathy and respect to all creation, and organizational skills.
Social Studies: Maps, world cultures, early American History, local Spokane history, Native American cultures and research projects.

Education: BA from Gonzaga University in Theatre Arts. BA from Eastern Washington Unversity in Elementary Education- endorsements in literacy, reading, and writing.
School Activities: Advent, Lent, and assisting the 3rd and 4th-grade choir.
Special Interests: I love to spend time with my husband and our 4 dogs. I enjoy reading, writing, drawing and singing! I also love to visit my family in Southern California where I grew up.
